The city library offers a large number of different titles, both in children and adult sections. It also has a reading room where you can read daily newspapers.
The library often organizes presentations of different literary works as well as variety of workshops. It takes part in organizing Šokačko sijelo (a traditional event of folk groups dancing, singing, presenting old customs…), Festival glumca (Actor’s festival), Županjsko ljeto (Summer in Županja), Dan grada (Town’s day), Mjesec hrvatske knjige (A month of Croatian books)….
