Veliki Kraj Gallery was opened in spring in 1991 in an old renovated traditional family house (šokačka kuća) as the first private gallery in the Vukovar-Syrmian county.
The major activity of the gallery is presenting of works of art, but they also organize books promotions and art workshops (like making dolls and Christmas decorations; recycling paper and making artworks out of it which is called Art of used paper).
